How does the 30-day guarantee work?
If you're not happy with Badger HR within the first 30 days, just let us know and cancel. We won't charge you for that first month. No questions asked.
How does billing work?
We bill monthly in arrears based on the number of people in your account. At the end of each month, we count your active people and send you an invoice. Archived people (leavers) don't count.
What counts as a person?
You're charged for active people only. Archived people (leavers) don't count towards your bill, so you can keep their records for compliance without paying for them.
Is there a minimum number of people?
No minimum at all. Whether you have 2 people or 200, you pay the same per-person rate. We're built for small businesses of all sizes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You'll only be billed for the time you've used.
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use secure European data centres and follow GDPR best practices. Personal data like emails and national insurance numbers are encrypted using industry-standard methods.
Can employees access their own records?
Yes, employees can log in to view and update their own information, access their documents, and acknowledge company policies. You control what they can edit through role-based permissions.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export all your data before cancelling. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then securely deleted.
